Nortech’s Access Control product range includes standalone access control systems for managing one or two doors. Many of the contollers can later be incorporated into a full online system.

Our networked access control solutions are based around Norpass3, our intuitive PC-based access control management software, which offers a wealth of advanced features as standard. Our extremely flexible family of online door controllers provides a choice of modules and cabling options plus a host of configurable features to support customer specific applications.

PC Based Access Control Systems

Our online door controllers are available in a choice of housings offering 1, 2 or 4 door capacity and either RS485 or TCP/IP communications. Each controller handles up to 65,000 cards and has many programmable features and interfaces.

Norpass3, our user-friendly PC-based access control software requires no licence fee and offers many all-inclusive features.

Standalone Access Control

We offer a range of standalone access controllers that can be used together with the reader of your choice. With a capacity to manage up to 20,000 users, the range includes single door and 2-door controllers with a comprehensive range of features. Our compact NanoQuest standalone access controller has an integral proximity card reader and can manage up to 600 users.

Card Readers and ID Devices

Nortech offers the widest choice of reader technologies in the industry. As a LEGIC partner, we offer top of the range smart card security. We supply HID iCLASS smart card readers and support Mifare sector reading plus serial number reading of cards and key fobs that conform to 13.56MHz RFID standards.
We also offer a range of 125kHz proximity and magnetic stripe card readers plus our exclusive card capture reader.
