Nortech is pleased to announce a major upgrade to Norpass3 Software.
Norpass3 has successfully replaced Norpass2 in the market, providing a more intuitive user interface and several improved features. The latest upgrade now offers even greater functionality. Its web browser interface supports multiple work stations that have the same look and feel as the main management interface. Norpass3 is more versatile than ever with customisable report generation, database options and compatibility with all of the latest versions of Windows.
The new features of Norpass3 include:
- Fire alarm input response option - open all doors
- Fire alarm input response option - auto roll call with auto-print facility
- Completely updated web browser interface with similar look and feel to the main application
- 10 configurable links in the web browser application to enable selected doors to be unlocked at the click of a mouse
- New reporting package with built-in standard report templates and an option to import bespoke report templates
- Password protected cardholder notes field
- Cardholder history tab showing last 10 activities
- Anti-passback override to allow certain members of staff to be exempt from anti-passback rules
- Single door mode for simple cabling of read in/read out controlled doors
- Compatibility with SQL server database (optional)
- Further options for password set-up facilitating more detailed control
- Compatibility with 64-bit and 32-bit Windows Vista and Windows7 as well as Windows XP
Some new features require the CRC220 controller to be fitted with the latest firmware and memory option in. However, the new Norpass3 software can be installed on a system running older firmware; those features will simply have no effect. This means that, if you wish to use the latest version of Norpass3, a simple upgrade option is available to you.
